Following is a great article on the state of websites in higher education.  After running tests on many many websites of educational institutions there is a great opportunity for improvement.  For decades (even before the ADA became law in the 1990's) colleges and universities were the open places to share ideas and knowledge among a diverse audience.  With the proliferation of the internet,  online applications, and online classes; if there was ever a place that website accessibility was a must it is in education.
